El Canijo de Jerez brings a festive blend of rumba, flamenco and rock, with songs from his solo career and Los Delinqüentes.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
El Canijo de Jerez brings together Andalusian roots, rumba, flamenco and rock in a lively live show. Marcos del Ojo Barroso began his solo career in 2012, after more than 14 years as a founding member, songwriter and vocalist with Los Delinqüentes. His music pairs playful, sharp and heartfelt lyrics with a broad range of popular sounds.
His latest album listed here is Ceniza y barro (2023), released during his work with Banda Magnética. The set can draw on his solo catalogue, including «Volar sin alas», «Como la hierba» and «Empezar de cero», alongside songs such as «La primavera trompetera» and «Si te pones triste».
The performance has a spontaneous, celebratory feel, rooted in Andalusian popular music and rock. His solo albums also include El nuevo despertar de la farándula cósmica, La Lengua Chivata, Manual de Jaleo and Constelaciones de humo.
It can suit town fiestas, festivals and private celebrations looking for live rumba, flamenco and rock. For weddings or corporate events, ask about the available format and production requirements.
