A 20-piece percussion group playing Brazilian, African and Latin rhythms as a static set or street procession.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Percudium is a percussion ensemble currently made up of around twenty musicians. The group performs in two formats: a stationary set in one place or a street procession that moves along the event route. Its sound is designed to bring live rhythm to public celebrations and gatherings.
The music ranges from Brazilian and African rhythms to Latin styles and original patterns. Percudium has spent two decades exploring new rhythms, instruments and musical trends. A static performance can suit a square or event space, while the procession format carries the music through the venue or streets.
The group has appeared at major music festivals and traditional celebrations in Barcelona, including La Mercè, Santa Eulàlia, the Fiestas de San Roc at Plaça Nova and Tradicionàrius in 2009. Its event experience also includes celebrations of FC Barcelona titles, Special Olympics, the Monleon Magnac Percussion Festival in France, the Walt Disney Parade and performances in Qatar.
Percudium can suit public festivals, street processions, sporting occasions and cultural events looking for live percussion.
