A percussion group from Esplugues de Llobregat blending batucada, samba-reggae, funky and techno for parades and celebrations.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Atabalats. Grup de percussió d'Esplugues de Llobregat brings live percussion to streets and events. The group, made up of musicians aged 16 to 35, combines rhythms, choreography and theatrical elements to engage the audience and animate the space.
Its roots lie in traditional percussion, developing into batucada and Brazilian-inspired sounds. The repertoire blends funky, samba-reggae and techno, among other styles. Dance and movement add to the group's energetic live format.
Since 2002, Atabalats has performed across Barcelona and Catalonia. The group has appeared at festivals in Mallorca and France, reached the final of the 2013 Concurs de Percussió de Barcelona and placed fifth among 27 groups. Since 2004, it has organised the Festa de la Percussió, an event for percussion groups from across Catalonia that has become a notable fixture in its town.
The show is suited to local festivals, carnivals, Three Kings parades, weddings, birthdays, fairs and street processions. For a town celebration or private event, moving percussion can accompany a route and bring live animation to the occasion.
The price depends on the date, location, format and technical requirements. The performers need a place to store instrument cases and water during the performance. Request a no-obligation quote and expect a reply within 24 hours.
