An intimate flamenco recital with Niño Ruven playing bassoon and dancing footwork, alongside Víctor Mayol’s flamenco dancing.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Nino Ruven y Víctor Mayol bring music and flamenco dance together in an intimate performance. Niño Ruven plays the bassoon, an unusual classical instrument in this setting, and adds flamenco footwork while performing. Alongside him, Víctor Mayol presents male flamenco dance with a style that combines strength and elegance.
The bassoon takes centre stage as Ruven performs both traditional and commercial flamenco music. Mayol’s dancing features traditional elements including a cordobés hat, a cape and castanets. Music, footwork and movement share the spotlight throughout the recital.
The intimate format can suit cultural programmes, private events and celebrations looking for a flamenco performance with a distinctive musical element. The combination of bassoon, footwork and dance offers a different take on flamenco for an event programme.
