Ketubara pairs live Afro-Brazilian percussion from Bahia with dance for lively celebrations and events.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Ketubara brings together percussion and dance, drawing on the Afro-Brazilian rhythms of Bahia. Founded in Barcelona by Alex Rosa and other members, the ten-musician group sets out to recreate the joy of this music. Colourful drums lead the performance, with dancers adding lively choreography.
Live music and movement combine in a colourful performance full of energy. The interplay between the drums and choreography invites the audience to follow the rhythm, dance and applaud. Percussion takes centre stage throughout.
The show is inspired by the Afro-Brazilian music of Bahia. It can suit town fiestas, public celebrations, corporate events and private gatherings looking for live percussion and dance. For weddings, Ketubara can add a distinctive musical moment to the day.
