El Diluvi blend modern folk and Valencian roots in a Mediterranean mix of styles, voices and traditional instruments.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
From Alicante, El Diluvi bring together modern folk and sounds from across the Mediterranean. Their distinctive approach draws on Valencian musical traditions while making room for original songs with a strong sense of identity.
The line-up features Andreu Ferre on bass, Lluc Llorens on diatonic accordion and vocals, Flora Sempere on vocals and bandurria, Txus Rodríguez on guitar, David Payà on vocals and violin, and Dani Garcia on drums. These instruments, alongside percussion, give the show a varied sound and an energetic rhythmic feel.
Folk sits alongside cumbia, reggae, rumba and traditional Valencian music in their repertoire. The band first played songs by Ovidi Montllor before developing original material, while keeping those early influences close. Their lyrics touch on love and protest. Songs listed in their repertoire include “A fer la mà”, “I tu, sols tu” and “La revolució”.
The full-band format and mix of styles work well for town festivals, live music festivals and celebrations looking for a Valencian musical flavour. El Diluvi have performed at Festivern, Acampada Jove and Feslloch, among other festivals.
