Afro-Brazilian batucada with an optional brass band format and adaptable line-ups for parties and celebrations.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Based in Córdoba, Bloco Eleguá is a batucada group of professional percussionists and musicians. Its performance can be tailored to the celebration, bringing live rhythms and audience interaction to a wide range of events.
The batucada line-up starts at five percussionists, with the number adjustable to suit the event. Alternatively, the group can combine batucada with a brass band: percussion joins wind instruments and well-known songs in one set.
The music draws on Afro-Brazilian traditions and the groups of Salvador da Bahia, alongside original compositions created with respect for that culture. Danceable rhythms and drums shape the performance.
The group performs at all kinds of events and can bring live percussion to parties and celebrations. Bloco Eleguá also runs percussion and Brazilian music workshops for different ages and ability levels. The musicians bring their own instruments, with no special requirements for the venue.
The fee depends on the date, location, chosen format and technical requirements. Tell us what you have in mind and request a no-obligation quote; we’ll reply within 24 hours.
