Caporu Music brings voice, guitar and percussion together for live rumba, sevillanas and covers at weddings and other events.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Caporu Music is a three-piece act featuring Carmen Cabezas on vocals, Isaías Posadas on guitar and Sandro Ruiz on percussion. With more than ten years of experience at weddings, festivals and other events, the group offers live music in a warm, engaging format. Carmen has also appeared at the Festival de Cante Grande Fosforito in Puente Genil and on Canal Sur’s Tierra de Talento.
The performance can be arranged as one or more sets of 45 minutes or longer, depending on the event. Guests are encouraged to join in and dance, while the group adjusts the music to the atmosphere. They need a 2 by 5 metre performance space and a power supply. Sound equipment can be included.
The repertoire features classic and contemporary rumba and sevillanas, as well as songs by artists such as Manuel Carrasco and Antonio Orozco reworked in a rumba style. Other song requests may be arranged in advance. Their influences include Ketama, Siempre Así, Juanlu Montoya, Nolasco, Niña Pastori, El Barrio, Lola Flores, María Jiménez and Los Delinqüentes.
The acoustic, danceable setup suits weddings and events looking for live music with guest interaction. It can provide a musical feature during the celebration or help get the dancing started.
The fee depends on the date, location, format, performance length and technical requirements, including sound equipment. Request a no-obligation quote and receive a reply within 24 hours.
