Batucada, street parades, axé music and Brazilian percussion and dance workshops for events and weddings.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Bloco Ayan offers batucada for a range of occasions, from percussion shows at weddings to street parades and carnival celebrations. Its musical line-up also includes axé, and the group runs Brazilian percussion and dance workshops. If you are looking for live music or an activity people can take part in, ask which format would suit your event.
Options include a percussion show for weddings and Band’Ayan, an axé music format featuring classics associated with Olodum, Daniela Mercury, Ilê Aiyê and Banda Mel. The group also offers school performances with more than 50 people, as well as parades and carnival appearances.
For participatory activities, Bloco Ayan runs weekly batucada and Afro-Brazilian dance workshops, along with workshops for companies, schools and other events. Activities can be arranged for different groups and occasions.
