An interactive Afro-Brazilian percussion group playing samba, maracatu and baião for weddings, parties and celebrations.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Bloco Alagbé is an Afro-Brazilian percussion group for celebrations that call for lively, participatory music. The drums bring guests into the rhythm, making the act a fitting choice for weddings, birthdays and other festive occasions.
This is more than a performance to watch from the sidelines. The group creates an upbeat, interactive atmosphere that encourages guests to dance and join in the fun, with percussion at the heart of the show.
The music features samba, maracatu, baião and other Brazilian rhythms. Its influences include Olodum, Daniela Mercury, Carlinhos Brown, Rio de Janeiro samba schools and the maracatu groups of Recife.
Bloco Alagbé can bring a lively musical interlude to weddings, parties, birthdays and other celebrations. The group asks for a place to change and drinking water for after the performance.
The fee depends on the date, location, performance format and technical requirements. Tell us about your event to request a no-obligation quote; we’ll reply within 24 hours.
