Live cello music spanning classical and contemporary repertoire, adaptable to weddings, ceremonies, private events and corporate occasions.
Cello Performans is a professional cello project for live music at wedding ceremonies, corporate occasions, private celebrations and other events. The performance can be shaped as a short musical interlude or a longer recital, depending on the event.
The solo set-up suits rooms of different sizes and needs only a chair and a small area. In intimate spaces, amplification may not be needed; an amplifier can be used when the venue or occasion calls for it. The cellist can also work with a DJ, violinists and other instrumentalists, or join a string ensemble.
The repertoire ranges from classical works to contemporary music. Listed pieces include Bach’s “Air on the G String”, Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy”, selections from Bizet’s Carmen, “O Sole Mio”, Elgar’s “Salut d’Amour”, Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March”, and works by Vivaldi and Wagner. The project’s influences also include contemporary artist Jorge Drexler.
Live cello can accompany a wedding ceremony, provide music at a private reception or feature at a corporate event. Set length and format can be tailored to the occasion and available space.
