Led by Virginia Alexandre, The Vintage Band performs “Back to the Vintage”, a show shaped by swing and Doo-Wop, with a Pin-Up and Navy-inspired look and dance routines. It suits events looking for a live band with a distinctive retro stage presence.
The set features well-known songs from the 1940s and 1950s, alongside original material in a Doo-Wop style. The line-up includes Virginia Alexandre, Katia VdK, Marta Guzmán, Miguel Ángel García, Kiko Moya, Jaime Fdez, Markus Schneider, James Ghigi and Javier Palomo.
Virginia Alexandre is a singer, songwriter and musical director. She reached the final of the first series of “La Voz” as part of David Bisbal’s team and toured Spain after the programme. Her work also includes singing and songwriting with Ático B, as well as writing songs for artists including Chenoa and Edurne.
The combination of live music, dance and retro styling works for town fiestas, weddings, private celebrations and corporate events seeking swing and Doo-Wop.
