Camarón de la Isla’s children honour his flamenco legacy with versions of some of his best-known songs.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Gema, Rocío and Luis Monge Montoya come together to honour their father, Camarón de la Isla, and his place in flamenco. The show brings together all three siblings’ voices and Luis’s guitar; he has worked as a guitarist since 2004.
The format pairs guitar with vocals to revisit songs associated with Camarón. Its repertoire draws on the nine-track collection Capitán de mis sueños, including versions of “La leyenda del tiempo”, “Te lo dice Camarón” and “Romance de la luna”.
Familia Camarón can suit local festivals, private celebrations and events looking to put flamenco and Camarón de la Isla’s music at the heart of the programme. The siblings’ family connection gives this tribute a personal focus on the music that shaped their father’s career.
