Papa Topo bring electronic and 80s-inspired pop to the stage, with keyboards, guitar, flute, bass and vocals.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Mallorcan band Papa Topo play alternative pop shaped by electronic sounds and an affection for 1980s music. The line-up features Adrià Arbona on keyboards and lead vocals; Oscar Huerta on guitar, carrillon and backing vocals; Júlia Fandos on flute and vocals; and Sònia Montoya on bass and backing vocals.
Their set brings together layered vocals and instrumentation, drawing on songs from different points in the band’s career. Titles include “Oso Panda”, “La Chica Vampira” and “Lágrimas de Cocodrilo”, alongside material from the album Ópalo Negro.
Electronic pop and new wave influences sit alongside romantic touches, ballads and italo disco. The band’s influences include Los Nikis, La Casa Azul, Camera Obscura, Golpes Bajos and Carlos Berlanga. Later releases include “Tengo estigmas en las manos (Señor)” and “Dime mentiras”; they have also collaborated with Samantha Hudson on “Por España”.
The band format suits celebrations looking for alternative pop performed live, including parties, weddings, corporate gatherings and public festivities. Vibra can discuss the event and the performance format with you.
