The Voodoo Children pay tribute to Jimi Hendrix as a power trio, spanning his career and bringing psychedelic improvisation to the stage.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
The Voodoo Children pay tribute to Jimi Hendrix in a power-trio line-up, following the format associated with The Experience. Their live set aims to recapture the drive and psychedelic improvisation of Hendrix’s performances.
The repertoire spans different periods of Hendrix’s career. Experienced musicians bring a recognisable rock sound to the songs, with room for improvisation and the intensity of a live performance. The music continues to appeal across generations.
The technical set-up calls for a simple stage, a sound system and two or three microphones. The venue can provide the drum kit if that helps with transport arrangements.
This tribute works for town fiestas, festivals, weddings, private parties and corporate events looking for live rock. It can also feature in a night centred on rock and psychedelia.
