Solobolo combines batucada, brass-band music, capoeira and Brazilian songs in street parades and stage shows.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Solobolo presents Txarantukada, a show blending batucada percussion, txaranga brass-band music, capoeira and Brazilian songs. It can take the form of a street parade, a stage performance, or a musical procession that leads the crowd to the main show location.
The group brings together six percussionists, some of whom have trained in Brazil, and six experienced wind players. Capoeira dancing and acrobatics add a visual element, making the performance work both on the move and on stage.
The musical mix features Afro-Brazilian rhythms and songs associated with artists such as Carlinhos Brown, Celia Cruz and Michael Jackson, alongside current tracks by Karol G and Manuel Turizo. Percussion, brass, vocals and dance give the show a varied feel.
The performance can suit public fiestas, outdoor celebrations and events looking for a street parade or stage show. Its procession format can also guide guests towards a central point in the event.
The fee depends on the date, location, format and technical requirements. Request a no-obligation quote and share how you would like to stage the show; a response is provided within 24 hours.
