Book Melissa and the Jacks for parties and events

Melissa and the Jacks are a six-piece covers band specialising in pop and rock, particularly music from the 1980s, with some songs from the 1990s. The line-up features two vocalists, guitar, drums, keyboards and bass, bringing a varied live set to weddings, town festivals and private celebrations.

A live set suited to the venue

Their repertoire runs to almost three hours, moving from softer songs and ballads to upbeat numbers for dancing. They bring their own sound equipment for small and medium-sized venues. For smaller spaces, they can use electronic drums and connect guitar, bass and keyboards directly, helping keep the volume under control. For larger venues, they work with other sound providers.

Pop and rock favourites

The set includes songs by Sting, U2, Simple Minds, Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Sade, Toto, Men at Work, Peter Gabriel and The Police, among others. They also play tracks such as “Billie Jean”, “September”, “Summer of ’69” and “Every Breath You Take”. Their influences span both pop and rock of the 1980s.
