Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba bring their kinkidelia sound of Andalusian rock, psychedelia and flamenco roots to the stage.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Also known as DMBK, Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba are an Andalusian rock band with a style they call kinkidelia. Their sound draws on flamenco, psychedelic and progressive rock, alongside an aesthetic inspired by Spain’s quinqui culture.
Dandy Piranha is on vocals, Bacca and Gringo play guitars, Soni is on bass, Papi Pachuli on drums, and Machete Carrasco handles synthesiser and keyboards. The group brought together musicians with backgrounds in Quentin Gas & Los Zíngaros, Furia Trinidad, The Milkyway Express and Jambalaya Band.
Their records include the self-titled 2019 album and «Hilo Negro», released in 2021. Recognisable songs include «El valle», «Gitana», «Porselana teeth» and «Las leyes de la frontera». The band also composed the original soundtrack for the film «Las leyes de la frontera», which earned a Goya nomination for best original song.
The blend of rock, psychedelia and Andalusian roots can suit festivals, local celebrations and private events looking for a distinctive live band.
