A female-voice and piano duo reworks soul and pop classics with touches of Latin jazz, swing and funk.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Marta Cofrade y David Sanz are a duo featuring female vocals, electric piano and synthesiser. Their set brings familiar soul and pop songs to the stage with carefully shaped arrangements and an elegant presentation. The pair’s musical rapport and interaction with the audience make this a personable live option for occasions where the music is meant to be enjoyed up close.
Marta’s voice sits alongside David’s electric piano and synthesiser. Some songs retain elements of their original arrangements, while others are recast with Latin jazz, swing or funk influences. The repertoire draws on artists including Amy Winehouse, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, The Beatles, The Police, Stevie Wonder and Elton John.
Their songs include Amy Winehouse’s “You Know I’m No Good” and “Love Is a Losing Game”, Ray Charles’ “Hit the Road, Jack”, Aretha Franklin’s “You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman” and The Police’s “Roxanne”. They also perform material by The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Bill Withers and Solomon Burke.
This live duo can work well at weddings, private celebrations and corporate events that call for familiar soul and pop performed with care. The recognisable song choices and two-person line-up can provide music for different parts of an event.
