Chain of Fools is a six-piece covers band from the Sierra de Madrid, performing soul, blues and jazz. Marian sings, joined by Antonio on guitar, Miguel Ángel on keyboards, Mus on bass, Ramón on tenor saxophone and Santi Luna on drums. The band has played together since mid-2010 and has performed at venues in the Madrid mountain area, weddings and other events.
The line-up pairs a distinctive lead voice with a tight instrumental sound. Its lively set is made for singing and dancing, mixing familiar covers with other choices. The band names The Commitments, Tina Turner, Amy Winehouse and Van Morrison among its influences.
The set draws on soul, blues and jazz. Songs performed as covers include “Chain of Fools”, “Smooth Operator”, “Rehab”, “Caldonia” and “Mellow Saxophone”.
The band can suit weddings, private celebrations and venue events looking for live music led by vocals, saxophone and soul and blues rhythms.
