An electro brass band featuring dulzaina, percussion and electric guitar, with an eclectic set list and audience participation.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Charanga Flau y Cía brings an electro brass band format built around dulzaina, percussion and electric guitar. Live music, humour and audience involvement shape a lively option for local festivals, weddings, birthdays, hen and stag parties, and private celebrations. The project began in 2005 as a street performance and has since grown in size, repertoire and scope.
The four-person line-up features dulzaina, vocals and animation; guitar and vocals; and two percussionists. The audience is part of the performance, which moves between dancing and singalongs, satirical moments and familiar musical surprises. Sound equipment can also be included.
The set draws on songs from several decades and genres, including hits from the 1960s to the 2000s, current tracks, rock, folk, and music from cartoons and television series. The selection can be tailored to the event, and bespoke compositions are available for birthdays and hen or stag parties.
This format works well for local festivals, street parades and celebrations where close interaction with the crowd is welcome. The group also performs children’s running-of-the-bulls activities and animated parades with stilts and characters. It is best to discuss the line-up, timings and travel arrangements in advance.
