Jirafa Rey’s solo music builds a distinctive world around classic horror cinema.
Book Jirafa Rey for parties and events
Jirafa Rey is the stage name of Alejandro Robles, a poet and philosopher from Málaga. He first came to wider attention with his cousin LaPili as Glitch Gyals, after their performance on Got Talent spread widely online. Their song “Cómeme el Donuts” became a viral hit.
A solo performance concept
In 2020 he began releasing music on his own with En la boca del lobo, an LP built around classic horror films. That concept gives the performance a distinct identity for event programmes looking for an act with a clear creative world.
Style and songs
The album includes “Slasher”, “La casa asesina” and “Tres cruces”. During his time with LaPili in Glitch Gyals, he also released “XXL”, “Chirimoya” and “Taichichi”, as well as the viral track “Cómeme el Donuts”.
Events that suit the act
His format can suit parties and events looking for pop with horror references and an unconventional edge. His Glitch Gyals background may also appeal to audiences who remember the duo from Got Talent.
