Singer-songwriter Guiu Cortés pairs thoughtful lyrics with an optimistic outlook, first sharing his songs online.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
El Niño de la Hipoteca is the stage name of singer-songwriter Guiu Cortés. He first built an audience by sharing his music online, particularly on YouTube, with songs rooted in composition and carefully considered lyrics. His optimistic personality comes through in his writing, making him a good fit for events looking for an approachable songwriter.
His career began with original songs and compositions shared through digital platforms. He has released five albums, including “Que te vaya bien”, “Mi novia de 2ºB” and “Esto no es un disco vol. 1”. The latter features collaborations with Sharif and Arnau Griso. He has also recorded with La Pegatina and Bely Basarte.
His influences include Silvio Rodríguez, Jorge Drexler and Bebe. Songs in his repertoire include “Que te vaya bien”, “Alquitrán y Carmín”, “El Porvenir” and “Mi Novia de 2ºB”. The set list will depend on the format agreed for the event.
His music can work for concerts, local fiestas and private celebrations seeking a singer-songwriter. For weddings and corporate events, the format and repertoire can help shape the performance around the audience.
