A cantaor and performance artist who takes flamenco into electronic music, rock, jazz and sound poetry.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
El Niño de Elche is a cantaor, musician and performance artist whose work places flamenco in a contemporary setting. His distinctive approach brings together singing, sound and stage performance, making him a strong choice for programmes looking for a concert with an experimental artistic dimension.
His live work moves between flamenco, electronic music, rock, jazz and sound poetry. He has released more than eleven albums and collaborated with Raúl Refree, C. Tangana, Los Voluble and Kiko Veneno. He also formed Exquirla with Toundra, combining his voice and music with texts by Francis Bacon.
His repertoire reflects an unorthodox view of flamenco and its connections with other forms. Tracks associated with his work include “Un veneno”, “Tú me dejaste de querer”, “Seguiriya madre” and “Canción de amor de San Sebastián”. The set list depends on the concert format.
His performance can suit festivals, cultural programmes and private or corporate events seeking experimental live music. For weddings and local fiestas, it is worth considering whether his artistic approach and format fit the occasion.
