Dixthree plays traditional jazz and Dixieland as a trio, with drums available to expand the line-up to a quartet.
Dixthree brings Dixieland and traditional jazz to celebrations in a compact live format. The trio is well suited to wedding receptions, drinks receptions and small private parties, as well as corporate events looking for live music during a gathering or reception.
The regular line-up features trumpet, banjo and tuba. Drums can be added when a fuller rhythmic accompaniment is wanted, turning the act into a quartet. This gives organisers a choice of a smaller ensemble or four musicians, while keeping the music rooted in traditional jazz and Dixieland.
The style draws on Dixieland and traditional jazz. Dixthree can provide music for wedding receptions, drinks receptions, small private parties and corporate events. The musicians have extensive experience across a range of musical ensembles.
