Spanish rap metal with social commentary, irony and a career spanning several decades.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Def Con Dos bring Spanish rap metal to the stage, pairing pointed social and political observations with irony and double meanings. Founded in Madrid in 1988 by César Strawberry, the group helped introduce hip hop in Spain before developing a sound that fused rap and metal. Their distinctive approach suits event programmes looking for a Spanish act with a clear identity.
The band remains active on the live circuit and has toured across Spain. Their catalogue spans more than twelve albums, and they are also known for the title track of the film El Día de la Bestia. On stage, the music’s force sits alongside lyrics that challenge current and controversial subjects.
Known songs include «El Día de la Bestia», «España es Idiota», «El cazador de elefantes», «Hipotécate tú», «Demasiado humano» and «Ultramedia». Their best-known tracks also include «Pánico a una Muerte Ridícula» and «A.M.V.».
Def Con Dos can suit town fiestas, festivals and public or private events seeking Spanish rap metal. Their sound may appeal to audiences who follow rap, rock and music with a social edge.
