David Cruz performs Spanish song and copla, drawing on artists such as Manolo Escobar and Antonio Molina.
David Cruz brings Spanish song to events where copla and familiar traditional repertoire are part of the occasion. His performance can suit a wedding, a hen or stag celebration, a christening, a communion, or a company lunch or dinner, as well as private parties and other kinds of show.
The set draws on songs associated with well-known performers in the genre, including Manolo Escobar, Antonio Molina and Luis Lucena. It also includes other names from the Spanish songbook. This is a good fit for gatherings where guests may recognise the music, sing along or get up to dance.
David Cruz has spent more than ten years performing on stage. His repertoire also features songs connected with Hurtado de España, Niño de Baena, Tony Mérida, Justo Vera, Tonino, Pepe Blanco, Antonio Granada and Julio Madrid, among others. The performance centres on his voice and Spanish song.
