Champanier plays Spanish and English language rock in a full band, acoustic duo or voice and piano format for drinks receptions.
Champanier brings Spanish and English language pop rock, rock ’n’ roll and blues to live events. The project is led by musician and singer Marcelo Champanier, who has performed at more than 150 events and collaborated with Ariel Rot, Coque Malla, Pereza, Andrés Calamaro, Andy Chango and Javier Urquijo, among others.
The full band features vocals, two electric guitars, bass and drums. An acoustic duo is also available, as is a singer and pianist format for drinks receptions, with instrumental jazz and Sinatra standards.
The catalogue includes over 60 songs, spanning American rock classics and Spanish and English language favourites. Covers include music by the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, Dire Straits, Jimi Hendrix, Loquillo, Coque Malla, Los Rodríguez, Calamaro, Tequila and Leiva. The set can be shaped around the client’s preferences, with extra Spanish pop or a classic blues section.
The band suits weddings, town fiestas, private parties and corporate events looking for a live set built around recognisable songs. The acoustic duo and voice and piano options offer a different feel for other parts of the occasion.
