Charada reworks pop from the 1960s to today as an acoustic duo, with over 60 songs and five themed collections.
Charada is an acoustic duo performing pop songs from the 1960s to the present day. Singer Daniel Cerdà, whose career includes venues in Barcelona, performs with professional guitarist Raul Costafreda, who has accompanied a wide range of Spanish singers and bands.
The line-up features two performers with acoustic guitars and mandola. Their Mediterranean sound and individual arrangements create a considered backdrop for wedding meals, banquets and celebrations. The duo adapts to different occasions and has also spent four years taking part in cultural programmes at libraries and civic centres.
Choose from more than 60 songs, with a strong selection of 1980s and current pop. Requests are possible, alongside five themed collections: French chanson; Catalan singer-songwriters, from Sisa to Manel; Anglo-American pop featuring Leonard Cohen, Coldplay and U2; 1980s pop including El Último de la Fila and Radio Futura; and mestizo pop with rumba, Pata Negra and Triana. The French chanson selection is a particular feature of the repertoire.
The fee depends on the date, location, format and technical requirements. The duo supplies its own sound equipment; the performance requires power, a stage for two and armless chairs. Request a no-obligation quote and receive a reply within 24 hours.
