A participatory batucada from Pinto, with original repertoire and samba reggae and Afro-Brazilian percussion influences.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Batucada Frente Malabar is a cultural association from Pinto, Madrid, bringing percussion to streets, festivals and gatherings. Its performances combine music and collective participation, with a strong visual and rhythmic presence.
The group can perform as a street parade, procession, staged show or animation act. It also offers tailored formats for parties, festivals, openings, promotional campaigns, educational events and street activities. An original repertoire and audience involvement are central to the performance.
The music draws on samba reggae, samba afro and Afro-Brazilian percussion. These rhythms underpin a show designed to connect with the crowd and bring energy to its setting.
Frente Malabar has more than 20 years of experience performing on streets and at festivals and events of many kinds. The association supports culture, collective work and social value; its income goes back into the association and its percussion school.
