Brazilian percussion in several formats for parades, festivals, sporting events and celebrations across Andalucía and beyond.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Batucada Aljarafe brings Brazilian percussion rhythms to outdoor celebrations and indoor venues. The group performs across Andalucía, Ceuta, Melilla and Extremadura, with different line-ups to suit the event.
The ensemble uses a range of drums to play rhythms originating in Brazil. It can appear as a large, medium or small batucada, and an animated version is also available. The music is designed to draw people in, get them dancing and invite them to join in with the rhythm.
Its influences include Olodum, Cafundó, Ilê Aiyê, Timbalada, Didá, Malê Debalê, Yayá Muxima and Cortejo Afro. Founded in 2017, the group performs regularly in Seville province.
It works well for Three Kings parades, carnival processions, street parades, marches, sporting events, openings, festivals and concerts. The group can also entertain crowds at sports stands, shopping centres and schools, as well as provide a service for businesses. Parking is needed to load and unload the instruments.
