Amatria combines pop, electronic music, Latin rhythms and popular sounds in songs made for dancing and close listening.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Amatria is the musical project of Joni Antequera, a singer, songwriter and producer from La Mancha. His sound moves between pop and electronic music, with Latin rhythms, popular sounds and independent influences. The songs shift between dance-led passages and more reflective moments.
The set draws on material from across his career. Well-known tracks include “Chinches”, “Un Amor”, “Techno Manchego”, “Vanana Megamix”, “Un Alud”, “Lagartija” and “Encaja”. “Chinches”, from the album Amatria, became an anthem at Spain’s indie festivals. His sixth album, De las cenizas (2023), features “Techno Manchego (Asiejque)”, “Llámame Loco”, “La Nube”, “Lagartija” and “La Tierra del Lince”.
Joni Antequera began Amatria as an independent project and has released six albums. The catalogue runs from Hoy van a salirte las alas (2012) and Salir ileso (2013) to Algarabía (2017), Un disco (2020) and De las cenizas. Delaporte collaborated on “Un alud”.
Amatria can fit festivals, public celebrations and events looking for pop with electronic production and a broad range of influences. For weddings, private parties or corporate events, ask about the format suited to the venue and occasion.
