A professional string quartet for weddings and events, playing classical music, film scores, boleros, tangos and international pop.
A Quatre Cordes is a string quartet made up of two violins, a viola and a cello. Beatriz, Sandra, Cristina and Rubén are all trained to higher music education level. The musicians have more than ten years’ experience, and the quartet has performed together for five years at events across the Valencian Community and surrounding areas.
The quartet can provide live music for different parts of a celebration. At weddings, it can perform chosen pieces during the ceremony and create a musical backdrop for the drinks reception. It also plays at other types of event. If you have a particular song in mind, you can discuss it when you enquire.
Their repertoire ranges from classical music, boleros, opera and tangos to international pop arrangements and film scores. It includes Pachelbel’s Canon in D, Schubert’s Ave Maria, “Por una cabeza”, “Con te partirò”, “Yesterday” and music from films such as Titanic, Amélie and Gladiator.
A Quatre Cordes suits wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions and other occasions where a chamber ensemble can provide live music. The quartet needs chairs without armrests. Sound equipment is generally unnecessary for events of up to 150 guests. For outdoor events with a larger audience, three or four microphones and speakers are recommended.
