A rock band playing original songs and covers, with a set lasting over two hours and national and international influences.
A Traicion are a rock band from Burgos, suited to events looking for a full live set and an engaged crowd. Their show runs for more than two hours, combining original material with covers. The band have been playing since 2000, and their members bring over twenty years of stage experience.
The set draws on songs from their four released albums, alongside covers of Spanish and international rock, Spanish rock classics and their own versions. Their influences span Spanish and overseas rock from the 1970s to the present day. Spanish reference points include Barricada, Los Suaves and Marea.
Over the years, A Traicion have shared the stage with Rosendo, Los Suaves, Barón Rojo, Medina Azahara and Marea. Barricada, Marea and Koma have contributed to their albums, as has Santiago Campillo, formerly of M-Clan. The band are also presenting the album “Entrañas y patrañas”.
The band format and extended set suit town festivals, parties and events with room for a rock concert. The audience is encouraged to take part in the show. A Traicion bring their own 6,000-watt sound system and 2,400-watt lighting, as well as a smoke machine and other effects. The venue needs access to 220 V power sockets.
