Arteche pair rock and ska with original songs and Argentine and Uruguayan classics, performed by a flexible five-piece band.
Arteche are a rock and ska band with Galician, Argentine and Uruguayan roots, formed in Vigo. The five musicians bring more than 15 years of stage experience in Spain, Argentina and Uruguay. Their lively live set suits festivals, private celebrations and events looking for an upbeat band.
The core line-up features guitar and vocals, a second guitar and vocals, keyboards and saxophone, drums and vocals, and bass and vocals. Percussion or additional wind players can be added. Sets can run from 40 minutes to two and a half hours, with the option for the band to move within a 10-metre radius of the stage. Allow one hour for set-up and soundcheck.
The set mixes original material with well-known Argentine and Uruguayan rock, drawing mainly on music from the late 1980s to the early 2000s. Their influences include Los Redondos, Los Piojos, La Vela Puerca, No Te Va Gustar, Las Pelotas, Sumo and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs. It may be possible to request songs outside the regular set.
Their rock and ska sound works well for town festivals, larger festival stages and private events. The musicians have played in intimate venues as well as festival settings with audiences of over 1,000.
The fee depends on the date, location, line-up and technical requirements. The band brings instruments, amplifiers and microphones; a mixing desk, PA reinforcement, sound engineer and stage are additional requirements. Ask Vibra for a no-obligation quote within 24 hours, sharing your event details.
