Grupo R is a six-piece orchestra from Ròtova, Valencia. Its line-up brings together experienced and younger musicians for a lively show aimed at a broad audience. The band features drums, bass, keyboards, lead guitar and two singers, one female and one male. Several members also provide backing vocals, and the male singer plays guitar.
The repertoire ranges across Latin rhythms and popular music from several eras. It includes salsa and merengue, reggaeton, remember favourites, and Spanish and international rock. This mix makes it possible to move between styles during the show and cater for different musical preferences at the same event.
With two lead voices and a live instrumental line-up of drums, bass, keyboards and guitars, Grupo R delivers a party-ready band format. The choice of genres can suit a public celebration as well as a private event where guests of different ages want to share the dance floor.
