Based in León, Grupo Radar has spent more than 35 years performing at popular festivals in northern Spain. Its eight musicians bring together singers and instrumentalists for a full live orchestra show suited to events looking for a substantial stage production.
The group features a male singer, two female singers, a singing keyboard player, a keyboard player who also plays guitar, a bassist who sings, an electric and acoustic guitarist, and a drummer. Its stage trailer measures 21 metres across the front, 16.5 metres wide for road transport, 7 metres deep and 11 metres high.
The technical production includes 60,000 watts of Linear Sound Array Xtreme sound, a Midas M-32 mixing desk, and 120,000 watts of mainly LED lighting with robotic effects. The show also uses a 65-square-metre LED screen, haze machines and additional effects.
The repertoire spans well-known classics and more recent songs, all performed live.
