We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Big Band de Alcalá de Henares brings a 23-piece jazz orchestra to the stage, led by Carlos “Chacal” Rodríguez Sánchez. It began as a project at Alcalá de Henares’ music workshop, bringing professional musicians together with students and enthusiasts. After more than 15 years, it has grown into an established ensemble.
Several line-up options are available to suit the venue and occasion. The programme can be shaped around the event and move through different periods and styles of popular music. Its director, Carlos “Chacal” Rodríguez Sánchez, is also known for his solo work and for accompanying major artists.
The set ranges from the golden age of big band jazz to more recent sounds, including Latin Jazz and pop. It can also feature a history of jazz, the American songbook, and popular rock and pop songs.
The orchestra has performed at jazz festivals, town festivals and corporate events, and suits other occasions looking for a live big band sound. Different line-up options help take the venue and event requirements into account when planning the performance.
