A four-piece Metallica tribute with carefully developed sound and a stage show inspired by the band’s concerts.
WGAT brings Metallica’s music to the stage with a four-piece line-up and a carefully shaped live production. The band formed in late 2012 as a thrash metal covers group; after seeing the audience response to Metallica’s songs, it made the band its sole tribute focus.
The performance combines a worked-through sound with instruments, amplifiers, costumes and stage design inspired by Metallica. The aim is to evoke the band’s concerts and put its songs at the heart of the show.
The repertoire draws mainly on Metallica’s 1980s albums: Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, ...And Justice for All and Black Album (1991). It includes signature tracks from across the band’s albums. The line-up is Javier Melero, Pablo Domínguez, Alejandro Ortega and Alejandro Borasino.
