Jerez rooted flamenco singing, shaped by respect for tradition and collaborations with leading guitarists.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Vicente Soto "Sordera" brings the cante jondo tradition of Jerez de la Frontera to cultural programmes and live events. The son of singer Manuel Soto Monje and part of the Sordera family, he has a close connection to one of flamenco’s best known lineages. His approach honours traditional styles while remaining open to other musical influences.
He began performing in Madrid’s tablaos as a teenager and set out as a solo artist in the mid-1980s. His work has taken him to flamenco festivals, theatre tours, recitals and cultural institutions, and he has collaborated with dance companies. With more than eleven albums, his musical partners have included guitarists Vicente Amigo, Tomatito, Paco Cepero, Pepe Habichuela and Diego del Morao. His releases include a trilogy devoted to Seville, Jerez and Cádiz.
Titles in his repertoire include «Con azúcar y canela», «Compás de Santiago» and «Soniquete entre Arcos y Cádiz».
