Virginia Maestro’s distinctive, wistful voice leads a personal sound shaped by folk, country, blues and soul.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Virginia Maestro is a Spanish singer-songwriter who won the sixth series of Operación Triunfo in 2008. Her solo work is known for intimate lyrics, a wistful voice and a strong sense of artistic identity. Before pursuing a career under her own name, she released the Labuat project with Risto Mejide and The Pinker Tones.
Her work ranges from the pop, electronic and experimental sounds of Labuat to a more personal blend of folk, country, blues and soul. Notable releases include «Dulce Hogar», «Night & Day» and «Del Sur». Songs associated with her career include «Soy Tu Aire», «Loneliness», «The Time Is Now» and «Dream Man».
Her background also includes several bands, jazz and blues jam sessions, and performances alongside Black Jack Bob & The New Deal and The Blues Intruders. This breadth may appeal to event organisers looking for a song-led performance with an expressive, emotionally focused delivery.
Virginia Maestro may suit weddings, private functions and corporate events seeking a distinctive voice with roots in folk, soul and pop. For local fiestas, the right fit depends on the performance format and the repertoire you have in mind.
