Five musicians perform national and international classics from across the decades in a live set lasting over two hours.
VHS - Vintage Hit Songs is a five-piece covers band whose members and old friends reunited in 2017 to play live. Since then, they have been the resident band at a food event and have performed more than 60 concerts across Catalonia. Their music can provide the soundtrack for town festivities, weddings, corporate events and private celebrations.
The set spans several decades, from the beginnings of modern music through to the present day. VHS pays tribute to leading Spanish and international acts in its own style. The band sings in English, Spanish, Catalan and Italian, with visual projections accompanying the live show. For audiences of 100 to 150, sound and lighting equipment are included. The venue needs a 220 V power supply, a paved surface and van access for unloading.
Artists covered include Elvis Presley, The Beatles, AC/DC, Queen, Pink Floyd, The Police, Fito y Fitipaldis, M-Clan, Sau and Sopa de Cabra. The set also features songs such as “Eye of the Tiger”, “Creep”, “El tren de mitjanit” and “La casa por el tejado”. The line-up is Albert Morales (vocals and keyboards), Joan Tarragó and Xavi Milià (guitars), Xavi Martin (bass) and Sergi Santana (drums).
