An all-women percussion group with Brazilian rhythms, audience participation and indoor or outdoor performances.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Batucada YemuYembá mujeres is an all-women percussion group, formed through a shared love of music and a wish to increase women’s visibility in the field. Its performance draws on Brazilian rhythms and invites the audience to take part.
The group can perform indoors or outdoors. The length of the set can be tailored to the time required, and the performance can also be arranged around the event’s schedule and location.
Percussion provides the pulse, while interaction helps bring guests into the performance. The group’s approach is designed to create a sociable atmosphere and encourage participation.
It can work well at town festivals, weddings, corporate events and private celebrations looking for an all-women batucada with an interactive feel. Its repertoire can provide music for several hours, according to the event’s needs.
The fee depends on the date, location, format and technical requirements. Request a no-obligation quote and receive a reply within 24 hours.
