Blues led by guitarist Javier Vargas, with a long career and a Latin touch.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Led by guitarist Javier Vargas, Vargas Blues Band brings a blues-led sound shaped by more than two decades on stages across Spain. Vargas’s musical background spans different countries and styles, feeding into a performance centred on guitar and blues.
Blues is at the heart of the set, with Latin colours and other musical influences. Javier Vargas has played with acts including Miguel Ríos’s band and Orquesta Mondragón, and has also worked as a session musician and composer. His career includes collaborations with Carlos Santana, Glenn Hughes, Raimundo Amador, Miguel Ríos, Andrés Calamaro and Prince.
The song selection can include «Blues latino», «Buenos Aires Blues», «Del sur» and «Luna», as well as «Do you believe in love», «Coward’s knife» and «Illegally». Ask about the set when discussing the event.
The band can suit concerts, town festivals, private celebrations and corporate events looking for live blues. For weddings, it can provide a band-led musical set as part of the day.
