Freebyrds bring electric blues and blues rock to the stage, with a four-piece line-up and songs spanning several eras.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Freebyrds are a Granada blues rock band formed in 2013 by guitarist Antonio Maillo. Their live line-up features guitar and vocals, keyboards, bass and drums, bringing individual character to a set of well-known songs. The band have played at venues and festivals over the years, and reached the final of the Blues Battle at BluesCazorla in 2023.
The format can be tailored to the event, with a set focused on blues or a broader blues rock selection featuring hits from the 1970s. Electric guitar takes the lead, backed by keyboards and a full rhythm section.
The set draws on electric blues, rock, jazz fusion, surf and funk. Artists represented include Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani, Dire Straits, Gary Moore, ZZ Top, Jeff Beck and Led Zeppelin. The band are also introducing original material while preparing their first release.
They can suit town fiestas, weddings, private celebrations and corporate events looking for live blues and classic rock. The band can provide a sound system of at least 500 W. Lighting depends on what the venue has available, and the group can bring the remaining equipment.
