A 15-piece street band combining brass and percussion, with a festive set that goes beyond the usual charanga sound.
Txaranga de la Prospe brings live music to occasions that call for movement and a lively atmosphere. The 15-piece band combines brass and percussion, making it a fitting choice for weddings, birthdays and other festive gatherings.
The line-up features three trumpets, two alto saxophones, a tenor saxophone, two trombones and a euphonium. Three percussionists and a cymbal player complete the group. It is a street-band format designed to accompany a procession or celebration with live music.
The set includes tunes that move beyond the familiar charanga staples, alongside more recognisable material for the style. That mix gives the performance its own character while keeping the communal, street-ready feel of a brass band.
The group can bring music to weddings, birthdays, private celebrations and other festive events where a mobile performance is wanted. A place to store the instrument cases is required.
