Timbalao brings together Brazilian-style percussion parades, samba funk stage shows and hands-on workshops.
Timbalao is a professional percussion group from Zaragoza, active since 2003. Its offer spans moving street performances, stage shows and participatory sessions.
Batucada and Funktucada parades, bringing percussion through the event space.
Timbalao Samba Funk, a stage show combining percussion with guitar, bass and singers.
Workshops and classes, including sessions for children, percussion for everyone and recycled-instrument making.
In 2014, Timbalao was the only batucada booked for the FIBA Basketball World Cup, performing on court during time-outs and intervals. The group highlights lively entertainment, punctuality, a polished appearance and considerate service.
The different formats can work for town fiestas, weddings, corporate events and stag or hen parties. A parade brings percussion on the move; the samba funk show is designed for a stage, while workshops give guests an activity to share.
