Flamenco fusion with vocals, Spanish guitar, Latin percussion and soul touches, plus a mellow line-up for receptions and cocktail events.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Son De Agua offers two musical line-ups for events. Its first combines flamenco roots with soul inflections in the vocals and Latin flavours in the instrumentation. The four-piece consists of three musicians and a singer, making it a good fit for celebrations seeking a live set with a blend of styles.
The flamenco fusion line-up brings together vocals, Spanish guitar and percussion. Its rhythm section features two percussionists, with instruments including flamenco cajón, conga, djembe, udu, cut cymbals and smaller percussion.
The second option has a melodic, understated feel for guest receptions and cocktail events. It can feature three or four musicians, Spanish guitar, flute and percussion such as cajón, congas and djembe. The music is designed to provide a calm, detailed backdrop.
In the fusion set, the group draws on different flamenco forms, with soul vocal touches and Latin rhythms. Listed songs include «Es la verdad», «Me hieres», «A mi manera», «Bulería de la lía» and «I Will Survive».
The melodic option features music by Paco de Lucía and gentle versions of 1980s flamenco pop. Its listed repertoire includes «Entre dos aguas», «Lágrimas negras», «La chica de Ipanema» and «Concierto de Aranjuez».
The melodic format is intended for welcoming guests, cocktail receptions, presentations, openings and special occasions; it is designed for gatherings of up to 1,200 people. The fusion line-up can bring live music to fiestas and celebrations, including weddings.
The group supplies sound equipment, percussion microphones, monitors and a sound engineer. Stage, lighting and an expanded sound system can also be provided for local fiestas or larger venues.
