A five-piece group playing classic and contemporary rumba, flamenco pop and pop songs recast as rumba for dancing.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Rumbo Flamenco is a covers group for celebrations where live music and dancing take centre stage. Its set moves between classic and contemporary rumba, with pop songs reworked in a rumba style for an upbeat party atmosphere.
The line-up features Diego Guirado on guitar, lead vocalists Anabel Alcántara and Suleya Sánchez, Carlos Maya on cajón and percussion, and Diego David Hernández on bass. Together, the vocals, guitar, percussion and bass bring flamenco and flamenco pop to the stage.
The group brings its own sound system and lighting. The technical details specify a 2,800-watt peak sound system and an illuminated lighting bridge. The setup calls for a stage for the equipment and a 3 × 3 metre space.
The repertoire spans well-known traditional rumba and newer songs, alongside pop covers adapted to the style. This gives the performance room to suit different parts of a celebration and encourage guests to dance.
Rumbo Flamenco can play weddings, communions, private parties and larger events. It suits organisers looking for a live rumba group with its own sound and lighting equipment.
