Rebeca Jiménez brings together singer-songwriter pop rock, American folk and Latin touches, with roots in soul and blues.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Segovian singer-songwriter Rebeca Jiménez offers a live set shaped by pop rock, American folk, soul and blues. Her musical journey has also taken in electronic sounds and Latin influences, giving her repertoire several distinct shades. She suits events looking for original songwriting with both warmth and drive.
Rebeca studied solfège and piano from childhood and began performing in Madrid with rock and blues covers bands. After exploring electronic music and soul through the project Soulsugar, she spent several years collaborating with singer-songwriter Quique González before forming her own band and launching a solo career.
Her albums include Todo llegará (2008), Valiente (2011) and Tormenta y mezcal (2017), largely written during a period in Mexico. The latter draws on Anglo-American influences and songwriter traditions, with references ranging from Tom Waits and Janis Joplin to Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones. Songs linked to her repertoire include «Despertarme Contigo», «De Haberlo Sabido», «Acuérdate» and «Hasta el Infinito».
Her band line-up has featured Toni Jurado on drums, Nacho Mur and Toni Brunet on guitars, and Jacob Reguilón on bass. The music can suit weddings, local festivals, private celebrations and corporate events seeking live pop rock and singer-songwriter material. Ask about the format that fits your event.
